Rocky Hills Farm Rescue: A Sanctuary for the Forgotten
Nestled on 50 peaceful, gated acres in the heart of southwest Missouri, Rocky Hills Farm Rescue stands as a beacon of hope for animals that many have forgotten. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we specialize in rescuing and providing lifelong care to senior and disabled domestic and farm animals—the ones most often overlooked, abandoned, or slated for euthanasia in overcrowded shelters across the country.
While our hearts are rooted in Missouri, our reach extends far beyond. We actively partner with shelters and networks in “kill states,” where animals—especially those with medical needs or advanced age—are at the highest risk of being euthanized. These animals don’t deserve for their lives to end simply because they are older or need extra care. At Rocky Hills Farm Rescue, we see their worth and fight every day to give them the love, dignity, and sanctuary they deserve.
A Different Kind of Giving
At Rocky Hills Farm Rescue, trust is everything. We understand the hesitation that many people feel when it comes to donating money. Where does it go? Who does it help? These are valid concerns, and that’s why we’ve chosen a unique path—we only accept non-monetary donations.
By asking for direct item donations—such as food, bedding, medical supplies, and enrichment materials—we give our supporters the power to see their impact firsthand. This allows us to use our own resources to cover extensive medical costs while ensuring that every donated item goes directly toward the daily care and comfort of our rescued animals.
This model fosters complete transparency and builds a deeper connection between our rescue and those who support us. When you donate supplies, you become part of a tangible mission—one where every item helps save a life or improve the quality of one already saved.

Our mission is simple but powerful:
To provide a safe, loving, and dignified sanctuary for senior and disabled animals who have been abandoned, neglected, or are no longer able to be cared for. We are dedicated to offering lifelong care, comfort, and compassion to these vulnerable beings, ensuring they live out their days with respect, kindness, and quality of life.
We believe that every life matters—regardless of age, disability, or background. Through education, advocacy, and community involvement, we aim to inspire others to see the value in every animal and to champion a more empathetic, humane world.
